Anne Brown Buckwald is thrilled to dance again in Flagstaff!  She started performing in dance, theatre, and musicals at NAU in 1989. Anne has returned to dance after a 30 year hiatus. Anne dances with Cynthia Ahlers and NAU Community Dance Academy. She also enjoys attending ballet intensives with Joffrey, Runqiao Du Ballet, and artÉmotion which was founded by former Ballet West dancers. When not dancing or working, Anne and her husband, competitively dock dive their dog Huckleberry.

Regan Foote has been dancing since the age of 3 and is thrilled for the chance to perform with Ahlers Dance. Regan grew up in Jacksonville, FL and is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, and more. Regan has a degree in Anthropology and Classical Studies from the University of Florida. At UF, Regan was a member of the rhythm tap dance group Stomp the Swamp and served as a choreographer and as Vice President during her senior year. Now in Flagstaff, she works for the Museum of Northern Arizona and finds joy working for an organization that celebrates the beautiful Colorado Plateau. Regan has a passion for writing, reading, hiking, archaeology, travel, language learning, and most of all, dance.

Madilyn Marshall started dancing at five years old and continued for thirteen years with Terpsichorean Dance Studio and Company in Bend, OR, focusing mainly on ballet, tap, and modern. After high school, she took dance classes only sporadically for too long until she moved to Flagstaff and found Ahlers Dance. Madilyn has been with Ahlers Dance since 2022 and is extremely grateful to have ballet and modern dance as a central part of her life again. While in Flagstaff, she has also found joy in learning various styles of Latin dance with Rueda en la Montana and Dancing on the Square. When not dancing, Madilyn devotes most of her time to her career as a math professor at Coconino Community College, but also makes time to enjoy hiking, backpacking, Nordic skiing, and running.

Emma Ferns began dancing when she was 9 years old and has trained in ballet, jazz, modern, and lyrical dance styles. She is currently working on her doctorate in Combined Counseling Psychology and School Psychology at Northern Arizona University. In her (very limited) free time, Emma enjoys taking dance classes at Ahlers Dance and teaching dance/choreographing shows for Children's Educational Theatre (CET) in Salem, Oregon.

Nadine Geissler has been dancing since she was 4 years old. She dances in four performance groups and teaches Salsa Rueda. She is honored to be dancing with her dance teacher Cynthia Ahlers of Ahlers Dance.

​

Courtney Ray has been dancing since the age of seven where she began performing and competing locally in the Phoenix area. She has trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary dance and also enjoys Latin ballroom dancing. With a BS in Conservation Biology and Ecology, she moved to Flagstaff in 2014 to continue research with Northern Arizona University. She joined Ahlers Dance in 2017 to continue her love for dance and the arts and to share that experience with others in the Flagstaff community.
